Item Description
You and a friend will have a short tour of the lab and perform all kinds of neat experiments:
1. making super bouncy balls
2. making a working electrical circuit (totally safe) using common household materials. a real life light bulb will turn on.
3. color chemistry-separating colors in markers
4. dry ice. this is the crowd pleaser. i will do a demo and then teach the kids how to make all sorts of cool and different colored liquids "smoke" and bubble. They will also make dry ice "balloons" using lab gloves.
2 demos: one with fire (showing the chemicals in fireworks) and the other liquid nitrogen where i freeze a flower solid and smash it into 1,000,000 frozen pieces.

90 minutes of Chemistry fun for your third grader and a friend.
Lab coats, goggles, and gloves will be supplied for fun, and so the kids don't come home wet or stained.
