Horse racing in Kentucky is rich in history, dating back to 1789 when the first race course was laid out in Lexington. Almost 100 years later, in 1875, Churchill Downs officially opened and began its tradition as "Home of the Kentucky Derby." 

Your Churchill Downs package includes:

VIP Private Jockey Club Suite – Enjoy a luxurious Jockey Club Suite for you and a guest. Each luxury suite is appointed with a private balcony providing a panoramic view of the racetrack, a self-service wagering machine, a wet bar and first class service (food and beverage costs not included). Parking is included in designated lot (Gate 10).  

Race Named in Your Honor & Trophy Presentation - Step into the Trackside Winner's Circle at Churchill Downs! A race will be named in your honor and your personalized race name will be listed in the program. You and your guest will be escorted into the Paddock for the saddling prior to your race. After viewing the selected race from trackside, you will step into the Trackside Winner's Circle and present a trophy engravedwith your name to the winning owner, jockey or trainer.  You will also receive a duplicate trophy and an 8" x 10" color photograph taken in the Winner's Circle to take home as a memento. 

Valid for the Spring Meet (May 8-July 3, 2011) or the Fall Meet (October 30-November 27, 2011), subject to availability. Not valid during Derby Week (April 30-May 7, 2011) or Breeder’s Cup (November 4-5, 2011).  Dates subject to change.

This package includes round-trip coach class service for (2) from any American Airlines destination in the 48 contiguous United States or Canada to anywhere American Airlines flies in the 48 contiguous United States or Canada subject to availability. Upgrade pricing is available. Coach class airfare can be upgraded to first class airfare by calling 877-544-8555. A minimum of 21 days advance booking is required as is a Saturday night stay. AAdvantage miles may be earned in accordance with the terms and conditions of the AAdvantage frequent flyer program. Miles cannot be utilized to upgrade these coach class certificates to a higher level of service. The certificates will have a one-year expiration date from the date issued and all reservations are subject to availability.  The following blackout dates apply:
