Item Description
Support Tohoku Honoo no Sakka Project
Donate for the Tohoku Honoo no Sakka Project in Sendai City, Miyagi Prefecture, Japan. Tohoku means north-eastern in Japanese. The earthquake and tsunami of March 2011 directly hit the Tohoku region, leaving devastating damage there. Honoo means "frame" and Sakka means artists/creator.
The Honoo no Sakka project was formed to provide support for pottery artists in the affected area.
