Item Description
Support Kasama-Noborigama Revival Project
Donate for the Kasama-Noborigama Revival Project, Kasama City, Ibaragi Prefecture, Japan. Kasama yaki (potter) dating back 200 years ago, received substantial damage to it's gama (kilns), and the recovery process requires considerable time and cost.
The Kasama-Noborigama Revival Project was formed to recruit volunteers to help remove debris and rebuild kilns. Once the task is completed, the next agenda is to provide workshops there to raise successors so that the tradition of Kasama yaki will be carried over to the next generation.
