Item Description
A one-hour voice lesson with Katherine Christopher, a 25-year-old aspiring opera singer and recent graduate of Manhattan School of Music, has accumulated almost two decades worth of stage experience.
Summer of 2004, Katherine was named the winner of Radio Tempo Italiano’s Vocal Competition, winner of The Allentown Music Club scholarship and the winner of The Bethlehem Lions Club Music Award. Also that summer she was chosen to sing The National Anthem, which was nationally televised, for the NASCAR Busch Series Race in Nazareth, PA.
In the fall of 2008 and through to graduation from the Manhatan School of Music, Katherine studied with renowned American Soprano, Ashley Putnam, an incredible teacher and mentor who took Katherine’s voice to an entire new level. Katherine successfully produced and sang in two long-programmed recitals her Junior and Senior year and was also a featured dancer and cast member of the Senior Class Opera – Handel’s Il Pastor Fido.
