Item Description

The scarf/shawl measures approximately 22" by 72"and was created using 100% silk 12mm crepe de chine with serged
hems.  It is very soft, fully reversible, is a good weight for
year-round wear, and can be worn in a variety of ways.  It was made using the ancient Japanese technique of Itijame Shibori, a
method of folding and carefully binding cloth prior to dyeing in order to create geometric repetitive patterns.  This scarf went through several dye baths in order to create the subtle depth of color and pattern.  It may be hand-washed in warm water using mild detergent, line dried, and ironed on medium steam setting, or it may be dry cleaned.  Please do not use harsh detergents or spot stain removers.
