Item Description
The second grade students found a new use for scissors this year – drawing! They studied the art of Matisse and created their own version of a classic Matisse collage by first painting several watercolors and then cutting shapes from them to create positive and negative space. The shapes were then assembled into this fabulous work of art. Look for your favorite artist’s names on the shapes throughout the piece.
