Item Description
Check out these Mona Lisa smiles! The fourth grade students studied DaVinci’s Mona Lisa and his painting techniques, which relied heavily on shading. Placing acetate sheets over black and white photos of themselves, each student used a pencil and black marker to create a self-portrait employing these shading techniques. The portraits were framed in an offset style to enhance the reflection of the shading. The results are stunning and worthy of their own wall in the Louvre but would look just as lovely on one of the walls in your home.
