Item Description
Four hours of lessons with local low brass private lesson teacher Dale Long. He earned a Bachelor of Music Education from the Crane School of Music (SUNY Potsdam) and a Master of Music (applied) from Northwestern University on both euphonium and bass trombone. After college he was the euphonium soloist with the Air Force Band of the West for four years before accepting a commision and completing a 20-year Air Force career as an officer. He remained active as a player, clinician and adjudicator after leaving the band, however, and has appeared as a soloist with various groups across the United States, Mexico, and England. At present he plays with a number of local bands and orchestras and has adjudicated for the Vermont All State Music Festival for the last three years.
Item Special Note
The four hours may be divided in a number of ways, including half-hour and hour lessons or as a clinic for a group.
