Item Description
If you're looking for a delicious, complex fruity wine to serve at your next dinner party, this 1.5 liter magnum of 2007 St. Hallett Barossa Shiraz in a wood box might be just the ticket. Made from 100% Shiraz sourced from several vineyards located in the Barossa Valley of Southeastern Australia, the wine is aged in new and used French oak barrels for twelve to sixteen months before the grapes from each vineyard are blended together and bottled. This is a tasty wine; it's been described as "rich black- and blueberry up front, velvety and smooth, followed by a bracing slap of Shiraz spice. The fruit in Shiraz usually masks a wine's acidity, but here it shines through, and the tannins are well balanced."
