The winning bidder will enjoy seven nights at a cozy and inviting mountain condominium that sleeps eight comfortably and has four bathrooms. The condominium complex has an indoor-outdoor pool. When pool time is over and you're ready to venture out, the condo is easy walking distance to town or to the ski area. The mountain town of Breckenridge is a vacationers’ dream, both summer and winter. Enjoy skiing, skating, dog-sledding, and cross-country skiing -- or just sitting by a roaring fire, watching the snow fall -- in the winter; or savor glorious wildflowers, hiking, birds in the adjacent forest, town restaurants, and a wide variety of shops in the summer. Breckenridge is an hour-and-a-half drive from Denver International Airport.

- Estimated value: $3,500 in winter; $1,200 in summer
- Dates: TBD in consultation with the donor. Not available on major holidays, including Christmas, New Years, Presidents’ Weekend, Fourth of July, etc.
- NOTE: Breckenridge, Colorado is located at an altitude of just over 9,000 feet. So if you are a “lowlander,” you should try to spend at least one night at a lower altitude -- e.g., Denver -- to help acclimate yourself. And if you have lung or breathing problems, this altitude would not be advisable for you. NOTE ALSO: that to get to the bedrooms in the condo, you need to climb either one or two sets of carpeted stairs -- so if you are infirm, or have problems climbing stairs, you should not consider doing this.
