Item Description

Overnight Summer camp for one boy age 7 to 13

Since 1936 Quinebarge has shown boys and girls varied and exciting activities in a safe and well supervised 70 acre woodland camp beside quiet, clean, mile-long Lake Kanasatka. Kids choose their own activities weekly. Cabin & Activity Counselors help kids choose and nudge/lead them to try new adventures and gain new skills. Our goal is to nurture interest in and respect for the outdoors, the natural world and to create an active lifestyle that will stay with our kids as healthy adults.

We play hard at games and sports, but we end each game still friends. Always good sports, we end each evening game with a friendship circle of thanks.

No uniforms and no regimentation- not like the big camps must. Outfitting everyone in a camp Q t-shirt when at crowded attractions, and walking single file along trails is as regimented as we get!

With over 1,500’ of lakeshore, Our water-front is a large activity area-American Red Cross Swimming Instruction is the only thing the camper doesn’t choose- each is tested and assigned to a daily swim class, Beginners to Lifesavers. Water Safety is taught through lessons in Canoeing and Kayaking and Sailing and other less traditional watercraft…
