"Project Blue Light" called upon Pittsburgh residents to place blue lights or candles in their windows at night as a tribute to three fallen police officers in 2010. Wade's photograph captures one anonymous person's response to the event, an image that's both comforting and strangely disquieting.
Policemen Memorial Blue Light is from the series Portals and Passageways, which won the Aaronel deRoy Gruber Award at the 100th Anniversary Exhibition of Associated Artists of Pittsburgh.
