Item Description
For One Person
August 6-9, 2012
The Denali Highway and the Tangle Lakes area are one of the most wild, archaeologically important, and picturesque regions in Interior Alaska. They are also a premier location for Arctic grayling fishing as well as some great birding, wildlife watching, wildflowering, hiking, and more.
We’ll fish the Tangles and head “off the beaten path” by boat and on foot to explore a variety of creeks along the Highway with dry flies and nymphs. Come adventuring with us to try out fly fishing for the first time or perfect your skills on very cooperative fish in an area that will take your breath away with its vastness and beauty.
(Lodging is available if you prefer not to camp. We’ll refer you.)
