Deanna Brown is a breast cancer survivor. Deanna was in the Information Technology field in Computer Management for 24 years and lived in north New Jersey.  In May, 1991, she opened Antoinette’s Guest House in Cape May and converted this private house into apartments and suites for summer rentals.  In 1993, she relocated to Cape May and opened Antoinette’s as an all-year-round business. On December 24, 2009, she was diagnosed with breast cancer just two days after she buried Dolores, her older sister who died of breast cancer. She continued to operate the business during her recovery with the help of family and friends.

If you like to learn more about how Deanna overcame the challenge of breast cancer, go to her website and click on “Confessions of an Innkeeper.”  She owes her speedy recovery to help from her family and friends, and also the wonderful external support she received from the Gilda Club in Northfield and AtlantiCare Breast Cancer support group in Mays Landing.
