Item Description
GLASS HALF FULL
Wine Spectator rated the Château Mouton Rothschild Pauillac 2004 with 93 points and described it as having “beautiful aromas of crushed berries and chocolate, with hints of Indian spices. Full-bodied, with silky, velvety tannins and a long, caressing finish. A lovely wine for the vintage.” If you still aren’t ready to add it to your wine collection, perhaps you might find a place in your art collection. Since 1945, Château Mouton Rothschild has commissioned a famous artist (Dali, Bacon, Warhol, to name a few) to design each vintage’s label. 2004’s bottle bears a watercolor by none other than Prince Charles of Wales to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the Entente Cordiale, an agreement of peaceful co-existence between France and England, at least in theory.
