Item Description
Old North Church, Boston’s oldest standing church, is one of the country’s most beloved national landmarks. On April 18th, 1775, two lanterns were hung in the steeple of the Old North Church, signaling that British troops were marching toward Lexington and Concord and started Paul Revere's famous ride.
The private, behind-the-scenes tour will take up to eight people to parts of the church inaccessible to the general public, including the church crypt, which contained over 1,100 bodies; the bell ringing chamber; and the 191 foot tall steeple.
Since touring history is sure to work up an appetite, enjoy a $50 gift certificate to Antico Forno Pizza Restaurante in Boston's North End. Named "One of the Top Ten Italian Restaurants Around the World," Antico Forno features brick oven pizzas and entrees that transport your taste buds to a bistro in the heart of Italy.
Item Special Note
This hour long tour can be arranged at a mutually agreeable time between now and May 31, 2013. Old North Church is located at 193 Salem Street in the North End and is open for tours from 9 – 5 seven days a week.
