This mask was painted by Karma Leigh on behalf of the Curtis Hotel and is a representation of the retro pop culture which the Curtis Hotel embraces. The Denver native was born with a natural desire to explore, she has traveled to many cities and experienced art in a number of genres. A painter and concept artist by trade, she created this mask for the Curtis Hotel in downtown Denver. She has curated several art shows, taught art classes to youth and worked on community mural projects.She is currently a part of Studio 72, an artist collective residing at Wazee Union.
