Item Description
This bottle from Patz & Hall Winery located in Mendocino County is from the Alder Springs Vineyard.
With excellent natural acidity, balance, structure and length, this Pinot Noir shows its pedigree from the 2007 vintage. It begins with enticing floral, cherry and strawberry aromas, which are underscored by a distinctive note of clove and cedar spice—a hallmark of Alder Springs. The palate is graceful and layered, displaying elements of raspberry, cherry liqueur, licorice, fresh fennel and cinnamon. A lovely expression of this high-mountain vineyard, the 2007 ALDER SPRINGS VINEYARD – Mendocino Pinot Noir is already showing remarkable poise at a relatively early age.
