About Joe Milligan
Joe's childhood summers were spent in Brigantine where his relatives were carpenters, boat builders, and baymen. The simplicity of the shore during the 1950's and 1960's influences his New jersey, North Carolina, and bermuda water colors. His illustrations have appeared in books and magazines about the New Jersey coast. Joe's paintings are in private collections in the US and Bermuda. A past student at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, Joe resides in Wawa, PA and Cape May, NJ.
