The Director of the National Park Service has placed The Bellevue Club (Women’s Athletic Club of Alameda County since 1929) on the National Register of Historic Places. Shortly after incorporation of the Club, March 19, 1926, the architectural firm of Roeth and Bangs was employed to design this stunning Beaux Arts building. The Bellevue Club is the anchor of the Bellevue Staten Historic Preservation District, and has also been listed in the California Register of Historical Resources.
