This image comes from a series of paintings, later turned into a book titled Bomb After Bomb: a Violent Cartography of Places the US has Bombed. The Amchitka painting is in part based on CounterPunch editor Jeffrey St. Clair's story about the nuclear tests on Amchitka Island off the Alaskan coast--the most powerful atomic blasts in history. 16 x 12 signed print.
