Item Description

Sunflowers have been my favorite flower since I can remember. I learned after my diagnosis that not only do sunflowers symbolize hope but its also one of the symbols associated with my type of cancer, sarcoma. I give all of my doctors and nurses a sunflower sticker when I meet them as a way to induct them into the team fighting for my cure.

I was diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma in late October 2011. After changing my life and becoming healthy, I noticed a huge lump on my leg. Through the relationships I have made during my cancer journey, I have learned the importance of hope and a positive attitude.

Item Special Note
