Item Description

Pinetree Country Club offers one tee time for four golfers (a foursome) to play one round of 18 holes. Offer is good Tuesday through Friday only. Proper golf attire is required. Certificate expires June 30, 2013. Originally designed by the noted architect Chick Adams and opened in 1962, Pinetree Country Club's 18-hole championship golf course has long been regarded as among the finest private golf courses in Georgia. Her sublime parkland beauty and challenging layout attracted Georgia State Amateur Championship in 1976, 1985, 2003 and the upcoming 2013 Championship, as well as qualifying for numerous Georgia and U.S. Amateur Championships. Over the years, the course also welcomed such legends as Arnold Palmer, Bobby Jones, Sam Snead and Tommy Aaron. After working as a golf assistant at Pinetree Country Club, Kennesaw native Larry Nelson went on to a Hall of Fame career, winning the U.S. Open and twice winning the PGA Championship.
