Item Description
Fender Hau'oli tenor ukulele. Near-mint condition: 17" scale with mahogony body, rosewood fretboard and Fender headstock (minus logo); strung Hawai'ian style with nygut strings.
The Fender tenors are considered among the better of the mid-price non-Hawai'an models, and sell new for $299. For reasons unknown this one was pulled from the market and the Fender logo was removed. The peg board was sanded down, re-stained and a coat of antique finish was added to both pegboard and soundboard. Aside from minor wear marks on the soundboard it is in pristine condition with sturdy machine tuners and an impeccable fretboard.
Made in Indonesia ~1999, this is a player's instrument, not a collector's one. Ideal for the novice player or the uke enthusiast looking for an instrument with greater range.
Item Special Note
After the auction closes, items will be shipped to the winning bidder and actual shipping charges (including insurance) will be added to the total bid, unless bidder chooses pickup options listed in your winning bid confirmation at the close of the auction.
