Take part in the Sutrayana portion of the "Life and Teachings of the Buddha" program at Tara Mandala May 30 to June 6, 2013.
The daily schedule will include shamatha and walking meditation and the afternoons, teachings with Lama Tsultrim Allione including: the four noble truths, the 12 links of interdependent origination, and the noble eight-fold path.
Lama Tsultrim Allione, author and international teacher, founded Tara Mandala in 1994 where she now acts as spiritual director and resident teacher. She was one of the first American women to be ordained as a Tibetan nun in 1970 by the 16th Karmapa. Lama Tsultrim is the author of Women of Wisdom and Feeding Your Demons: Ancient Wisdom for Resolving Inner Conflict, (2008, Little Brown & Co.) a system for transforming our inner demons by nurturing rather than fighting them.
