The Republic, depicted in this 16 X 20 matted print by David Clemans, was a steamer traveling the Delaware River and Bay between Philadelphia and Cape May during the Victorian era, bringing thousands of visitors to the nation's first seaside resort. Item also includes a copy of David's book "River Run to the Sea, an Artist's Journey Through South Jersey."
