Item Special Note

2011 Roussanne - The grapes for our estate-grown 2011 Roussanne were hand-picked in the early morning, gently pressed off their skins and placed in French and Hungarian barrels to ferment. After primary fermentation they were left in barrel to sur lie age for 4 months with no malo-lactic fermentation. The resulting wine is a straw-colored and highly structured yet balanced with bracing acidity and a distinct creamy mouth-feel. It boasts exotic aromas of figs and apricots with a hint of orange peel zest. On the mid-palate, candied citrus flavors and honey and vanilla dance and linger on the tongue, leading to a smooth and refined finish. Enjoy with lobster risotto, chicken Alfredo o any cream-based pasta!

2010 Tempranillo - The Keyways Vineyard & Winery 2010 Tempranillo is 100% Estate Reserve.  It is bold, rich and complex with a deep ruby-purple color and tantalizing aromas of black fruit, minerals with hints of leather and spice.  The mid-palate is lush and focuses with prominent but approachable tannins and a long sweet vanilla finish.  This wine will continue to evolve in bottle for the next 3-5 years, and will pair wonderfully with grilled red meats, sautéed Portobello mushrooms and semi-firm Spanish cheeses.

2008 Dolcetto - Truly a delight for those who appreciate the rustic grape varietals of Italy! This dark ruby-colored wine invites you for a sip with violets, black fruit, and smoky spice on the nose. The mid-palate is big and velvety, boasting balanced acidity and bold but softened tannic persistency, with flavors of blackberry, black cherry, cedar and vanilla. Our Dolcetto will pair well with hard cheeses, red-sauced pasta, red meats and game.

2010 Valley Cuvee Du Sud - Our flagship red, the 2010 Du Sud is an ode to the powerfully majestic wines originally from the Southern Rhone Valley. Displaying the finesse and depth worthy of its French cousins, this wine is rich with fruit characters due to the sun-drenched days and sandy loam soils of Southern California. On the nose...red berries and cigar-box are laced with subtle hints of damp earth and spice. Rich and silky textures entice the mid-palate with red fruit, tobacco and vanilla followed by a smooth finish. This wine will cellar nicely over the next 5-6 years.
