Item Description
Here is a beautiful representation of the spirit of cooperation by the SK students, third through eighth grades. These ceramic bowls were made with a mold -- the kids rolled bits of clay into coils and other designs and laid them in the molds. The insides of the bowls were smoothed out, while the outside has the design and is unglazed. Let by Linda Sattler, the older kids (2nd lunch period) mainly worked on the bowls with a few smaller ones who snuck in to help. They are low fire bowls with a teal glaze on the inside.
