Item Description
Perfect for carrying notebooks, journals or paperbacks, this beautiful 18" x 14" backpack is made of manta fabric, the traditional woven textile used by indigenous Peruvian women to carry their children on their back. The backpack also includes a handy zipper pocket on the outside for pencils, your phone or your checkbook. It was made by ghe weavers of Grupo Mana, a women's sewing cooperative near Lima, named for Manna from the story of the Exodus. Sold through Partners for Just Trade, this came to us through General Convention in Indianapolis.
