Item Description
You and 5 guests are invited to spend an evening game at Progressive Field in downtown Cleveland with Hall of Fame pitcher and national broadcaster Dennis "Eck" Eckersley. On June 18, 2013, you and your guests will be spending the Indians vs. Royals game in a fully stocked executive suite on the first level, directly behind home plate. Mr. Eckersley will be hanging out, signing autographs and taking photos from 6:30 until at least 8:30.
During the first half of his 24-year big league career, Eck won over 150 games primarily as a starter, including a no-hitter for the Cleveland Indians in 1977. Over his final 12 years, he saved nearly 400 games, leading his hometown Oakland A's to four American League West titles and earning both Cy Young and MVP honors in 1992. The only pitcher with 100 saves and 100 complete games, Eckersley dominated opposing batters during a six-year stretch from 1988-93, in which he struck out 458 while walking just 51.
Two of these packages are available, please see the other item (Lot #141). Both are for the June 18th game and in the same suite.
