Item Description
Copenhagen Zoo has established a research station at the Pilanesberg National Park, two hours drive from Johannesburg. We offer a full day tour for up to six people in an open tour vehicle with our local ranger as your private guide. Elephants, rhinos, giraffes, antelopes of various kind, hippos and - if you are lucky - lions and other predators are just a small part of what can be seen on such a tour. The park is known for its "Big five" and our ranger is one of the most experienced rangers in the park. Pick up will be at one of the lodges in or just outside the park. Best time of the year for such a trip is late February till late April (local fall) or October-November (local spring). Offer is valid for the period May 2013 - May 2014.
Item Special Note
The donation includes the actual guided tour in the park, whereas the trip to Pilanesberg and the accommodation must be paid by the participants themselves.
