Tom Barrett is as well known in the Chico area for his photos as he is for his for his involvement in the community. This photograph of the stately valley oaks of Bidwell Park is an iconic image for Chicoans. The grandeur of these oaks inspired Hollywood to film the original Erroll Flynn version of Robin Hood here in Bidwell Park.
