Item Description
These meditation beads were made using handmade olivewood products by local craftsmen in the Holy Land. Kazuri beads are also used. Kazuri, which means small and beautiful in Swahili, is a guild founded to create employment, making handmade beads, for Kenyan mothers. The workshop now supports 340 women. The top cruciform is a handmade brown and gray swirl painted Kazuri bead. The remaining cruciforms are silverplated with swirl design beads. The weeks are a combination of brown and gray beads and Bethlehem Olivewood, handmade in the Holy Land. The labyrinth pendant measures one inch in length, is silver-plated and is finished on both sides. The overall length of the prayer beads is 10 1/2 inches. These beads are appropriate for girls, boys, women and men of all ages.
The prayer beads come with a card that describes the prayer beads symbolism and gives suggestion on how to use them. The card emphasizes there is no incorrect way to pray or meditate. An organza draw-string bag is also included for storage.
