Item Description
The Boston Wine School is a 100% snob-free zone where everyone can come to learn about wine and food. No matter who you are, no matter how much you know or don't know about wine.
Classes are small — usually 15 students max — with people at every stage in wine life, from 21+ beginners on up. Get ready to taste 6-8 specially selected wines in these interactive classes. We offer one night, multiple week, and weekend class plus dinner. Class always features bread, cheese, olives & antipasto as well.
BWS events are interesting and interactive. You learn about wine — what you like, what you don't, how to talk about it — and we learn about ourselves and each other, and that's what makes it great.
Wine Lover's Devotional is a year-long collection of insight and eclectica for the passionate wine lover. Each day of the week is given a wine-themed category: Monday: The Language of Wine; Tuesday: Wine Grapes; Wednesday: Wine & Food; Thursday: Putting Wine in its Place (Wine Geography); Friday: People Make Wine, Wine Makes People; and Saturday + Sunday: Weekend Wine Adventure. Wine Lover's Devotional uses hundreds of years of tradition, tasting notes, recipes, colorful trivia, and intriguing histories to inspire the oenophile in all of us.
