Created by local miniature artist, Todd Krueger of TK Designs, Waunakee.
TK Designs have been porducing miniatures full-time since 1998 and exhibiting in shows since 1984. Mr. Krueger exhibits at the three largest miniatures shows in the country. His work has been featured on the cover of Dollhouse Miniatures magazine and American Miniaturist magazine.
All work is in one inch scale (one inch = one foot) and polymer clay. All natural fabrics are used in the dressing of the pieces. Some work is cast (from his original sculptures) in resin or pewter.
This scene was made in 1998-99 and reatures 4 miniature dressed primates in a garden diorama. It was originally commissed for $1,500. Today each individual figure would be in the $300 - $500 range with the setting the same for a value of $1,800 - $2,400.
