Set of 12 lithographic prints, "Blackfeet Indians of Glacier National Park," 1940.
Each 9"x12" print is in a protective sleeve, and titled: "Plume,""Not Real Bear Woman," "Long Time Pipe Woman," "Big Face Chief," "Juniper Buffalo Bull and Little Young Man," "Scalping Woman," "Buffalo Body"(this one has some blue ink smear), "Morning Gun," "Spopeia and Mameia,""Many Horses, Little Rosebush and Baby," "Only Child," and "Double Steel and Two Cutter." Set includes the original cover and booklet, "Out of the North: A Brief Historical Sketch of the Blackfeet Indian Tribe."
Note that there were several printings under this same title, each with different markings. On this set, the following text is in the lower left of each print: "From original portrait by Winold Reiss, New York / Copyright Great Northern RY. Co., St. Paul." And in the lower right, "Printed in U. S. A."
