Emma and Nicola met at NYU in the ‘90s and joined together to write their New York Times best-selling semiautobiographical satire, The Nanny Diaries. In their new novel, The First Affair, they offer a convincing portrait of a damaged young woman whose head is turned by the attentions of a dashing and powerful political figure. Kirkus Reviews calls it “an utterly absorbing page-turner.” Both authors will be our guests for one of our signature “Evenings with…” events. This is a great opportunity for aspiring writers, avid readers (both young and less young), to learn more about how these celebrity authors plan, research, collaborate and write. There could no nicer place to gather, learn, visit and dine than the home of Jenn and Dan Brandt. Guests will receive a copy of The First Affair to be signed by the authors.
This event is open to the first 30 guests who sign on at $125 per person.
