Item Description
This Aamodt color print depicting a girl dressed in a traditional Hallingdal bunad (folk costume) is done in a very fresh modern treatment. Behind the girl is a tapestry depicting a wedding gathering. The costume has an olive jumper overlay with an earth red skirt with black belt and shoes. The frame is 1" wide black with a white double mat.
Framed print measures 13" wide by 18" high.

The artist, Sharon Aaamodt, is the granddaughter of Norwegian & Swedish immigrants. She loves to link people to their heritage through her pieces. Her depictions are finely detailed yet done with a very contemporary feel. Sharon is proud of her Scandinavian roots. She lives in Washington State.
