Item Description
2 inch width; components - metal, adhesive, paper; metal base, non-toxic materials, glossy finish; 1861 cuffs are created from the pages of the artisan's great grandfather's journal of remedies and "receipts" devised as cures for ailments such as scarlet fever, whooping cough, sore eyes, headaches and for making ink, candles, wines and cordials; this cuff shows a partial recipe "To Make Excellent Candles" on exterior and "Receipt for Scarlet Fever" on interior; cuff may be squeezed firmly but gently to secure fit; from the journal of Robert Draper, born 1836 in Melbourne, Derbyshire, England and died in 1886 at Canton, Massachusetts.
