Item Description
1 quart of yummy, Local Raw Honey from Tom Harned of Five Bee Hives.
Five Bee Hives is a local honey producer whose bee’s make honey in yards from the hills south of Highway 20 below the Triangle to The Peregrine Ranch in the north (and some are at The Mountain School!). This honey is minimally heated (115 degrees) during the extraction process from the comb to provide a product that is raw, with all the nutritional and enzymatic properties you value. It superior taste comes from the many regional flowers found throughout the valley’s hillsides and bottomlands. Some of the pollen from these flowers finds its way into the honey giving it a valuable anti-allergenic property for locals. Find out what the buzz is all about at Five Bee Hives.
