Your tour guide will be Dr. Barbara Durrant, Director of Reproductive Physiology at the Institute and Wildlife SOS collaborator
The San Diego Zoo Institute for Conservation Research is the world's largest multi-disciplinary zoo research center. Seven research divisions employ more than 230 scientific staff engaged in laboratory and field studies in over 35 countries worldwide. A two hour tour of the Institute will take you behind the scenes into the high tech laboratories of Reproductive Physiology, Genetics, Applied Animal Ecology among others, where you will learn what these scientists are doing to bring back species from the bring of extinction.
Item Special Note
The tour can be a group up to 6 people. You need to be at least 16 or older to participate. Visit needs to be coordinated ahead of time with Dr. Durrant.
