About the Wine
The 1988 vintage presented a wet winter and spring, with dry, moderate weather between July and September; overall a very good year. The Ausone ‘88 reveals distinctive, complex nuances of dark fruit, fresh herbs, rich earth, tobacco and lingering spice.
