Item Description
24" x 48", framed oil painting.
Mary Traynor's drawings of buildings threatened with demolition in the 70s and 80s are not only beautifully detailed works of art, but stand as important historical documents. They have been the subject of many conversations in the exhibition. Mainly between Cardiffians of a certain age grasping at vague memories of these buildings, once so real. Images so familiar, Cardiff Bay at low tide for instance, that will never be seen again.
