The rebuilding of the World Trade Center is the most architecturally, politically, and emotionally complex urban renewal project in American history. What was once Ground Zero is now three of the tallest skyscrapers in America, an iconic – and complicated – train station, a performing arts center, and a sacred memorial and museum. You are bidding on an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of the World Trade Center site for up to six people.
Led by a World Trade Center team member at Silverstein Properties, the tour will begin in the lobby of 7 World Trade Center – the first office building to be rebuilt at the site. Visitors will walk through the private WTC marketing and design center to see models, renderings and animations of the project. Visitors will get an overview of the sustainable design and technology features of the new development as well as the rebirth of the Downtown Manhattan neighborhood.
Your group will then be escorted to 4 World Trade Center, the first office tower to open on the 16-acre site. The group will visit one of the top floors for birds-eye views of entire city.
The tour will conclude at the entrance to the 9/11 Memorial Museum at which time the group will be given tickets to enter the museum and explore the museum at their leisure.
