Story Behind the Shot: I live in Brooklyn. As often as I can I go on "urban safari" where I will throw on some headphones and wander the streets with my camera. I am especially interested in the effects of the elements and the people of NYC on the copious amounts of street art that can be found almost everywhere. I found this fence in Red Hook with multiple figures like this one painted on it. I was drawn to where the art met the architecture and immediately thought about how we all lock things away inside out heads.
