The Story Behind the Shot: While on a photographic journey through Budapest, I stopped in a local camera store for 35mm film. As I waited I turned - and there was "the shot" that told so much about where I was, what I saw - and the juxtaposition of telling stories visually and verbally.
Artist bio: A distinguished Unit stills photographer for television shows like Crossbones and The Bachelorette, and movies such as Disney's Teen Beach Movie 1 and 2. Based in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Francisco Román has exhibited his personal work in international art exhibits and has won the Canon Editor's Choice 3 Award (for his photos of the Tusipono Indians in Panama).
