CIRQ Estate, Sebastopol
Etched 3 Liter Pinot Noir and Half-Case 750ml Bottles

Etched three liter bottle of 2012 Treehouse Pinot Noir, Russian River Valley, and half-case.

It has always been proprietor/winemaker Michael Browne’s (Executive Winemaker for Kosta Browne) dream to plant a vineyard and make wines from it that are the highest quality obtainable and provide a lens on where they were grown. CIRQ is the realization of that dream. Production is extremely limited.

The 2012 Treehouse Pinot Noir has aromatics of darker cherry, ripe raspberry, cranberry and pomegranate notes with a dusting of baking spice and forest floor tones. There is a hint of herbal spice around the edge with traces of tobacco leaf and fig.

The wine has flavors of ripe mixed berries and deep, dark bing cherry that saturate the mid-palate along with cranberry undertones. Treehouse’s plush texture slowly and fully encompasses the tongue without overpowering it. The feeling is a sumptuous combination of weight, power and elegance.

CIRQ’s wines are held back for a full year after bottling to give them more time to rest, integrate and allow more complexities to unfold. It is encouraged that you cellar the wine for three or more years, if possible.
