Ever wanted to learn an instrument, or maybe pick up where you left off once upon a time? Sheela Das is offering Two 1-Hour Music Lessons for Voice, Flute, Ukulele or Pennywhistle at her Shaker Heights studio.
Sheela Das is a professional vocalist and instrumentalist who plays ukulele, flute, pennywhistle and guitar. She fronts several bands including Sheela and the Others, the Green Diamond Zephyr (Great American Songbook tribute) funded by the Ohio Arts Council, and adds sweet vocals and ukulele finesse to the Spyder Stompers and Sugar Pie which performed at the Brooklyn New York Folk Festival in 2014. Her influences include Memphis Minnie, Etta James, Rory Block and Patsy Cline. Sheela is also a songwriter for Creative Concepts in Music and works at the Roots of American Music as a teaching artist and associate director. Lessons are available to students of all ages and interests!
