Madi Diaz - Phantom Signed Vinyl Album
Madi Diaz’s captivating, high-energy songs manage to conjure all the apprehensions of youth and heartbreak into a guileless, giddy sort of strength. Madi’s new music takes on grungy, pulsating bass lines that open up to shimmering, expansive chords, punchy drum beats, and unfettered vocal swagger. We could be speeding down a wide open highway, running in the sand along the LA shoreline, or hovering near the jukebox in a dark bar, but no matter where her music takes us, we want to dance.
Madi’s previous album, "We Threw Our Hearts In The Fire," was funded through the help of her fans on Pledge Music, reaching 126% of her initial fundraising goal! Recorded in Nashville, the album was mixed by Grammy winner Vance Powel (Jack White, Jars of Clay) and co-produced by Madi and her writing partner Kyle Ryan.
The album serves as a follow-up to "Plastic Moon," recorded with world-renowned producer John Alagia (John Mayer, The Dave Matthews Band). Released to acclaim, the record debuted at #20 on Billboard's Heatseekers chart and #15 on Billboard's Next Big Sound chart.
No stranger to television placement, Diaz's songs have been featured on ABC Family's "Pretty Little Liars" and Lifetime's "Drop Dead Diva" "Army Wives” and most recently in a trailer for Disney’s “Monster’s University." Madi has toured with the likes of Dashboard Confessional, the Civil Wars, Rachael Yamagata, Joshua Radin and A Fine Frenzy.
